About our agency… Family owned and operated for the past 45 years, Mike Freeman Insurance Agency offers Jackson area businesses and individuals complete insurance coverage with an emphasis on service. Mike G. Freeman founded the insurance agency in 1954 and was joined by his son, Bill Freeman, that same year. Mike retired at age 82 after 60 years in the insurance industry. Bill's son, William M. (Mike) Freeman, joined the firm fourteen years ago, after an 11-year career in the U. S. Army. Three generations of Freemans have worked to build the agency's reputation on this principle: "Sales are important, but service is more important." Over the years the agency has grown to offer a wide variety of insurance plans, including general liability, worker's compensation, fleets, fire, mobile homes, homeowners, automobile, bonds, life, garage liability, dealer blankets, inland marine, and boats. As an independent insurance agency, their agents represent a number of companies, so they can choose the very best insurance coverage for each business or individual. Service always is the keystone of business. Customer service representatives Kay Bivens, Anita Miller, and Debra Ransom pay careful attention to each clients needs. All Customer Service Representatives are licensed agents involved in continuing education programs to increase their insurance knowledge.
